Mother/Son Dance

What song is your FI and FMIL dancing?

FI cannot find anything that he likes.  He doesn't like country music and doesn't want anything sappy or too overdone... any suggestions?

    My BFF's DH danced to She loves you by the Beatles.  It's more up beat and is not a slow dance song.  They had a lot of fun with it.

    Other suggestions off the list my DJ gave me:

    Simple Man - Lynyrd Skynyrd
    The way you look tonight by Sinatra.
    You've got a friend by James Taylor
    Wonderful Tonight - Eric Clapton
    Memories by Elvis

    My FI wanted to go with the Skynyrd song but FMIL vetoed it..."Not appropriate"  But I think it's a great song and not at all sappy and pretty perfect.

    Edit: I think I should mention that it's a long song but I think you can find shortened versions

    We let our parents pick the songs for their dances, that way it means that much more to them (not to mention one less decision for us to make:)

    FI and his mom are dancing to the Dean Martin song "That's Amore." FMIL picked it out and FI thought it was a good idea.
