Tanioka's in Oahu

Hello B2b's and former Brides. I was wondering if anyone has used Tanioka's for their wedding before? I'd like to get feedback, suggestions, comments, etc if you've tried them or had them cater your special day. TY! Laughing

Im using them! Info in my bio, theyre really affordable. If your total is less than a thousand they dont deliver. Ours is less than $500 for 30 ppl so a friend will be picking the food up. The cost goes down if you dont need their plastic silverware.

Thank you so much! I'll keep that in mind when I actually book them. Were you able to negotiate on the cost of food or were they pretty set on the menu prices? The food looks delicious!

I didn't even try to negotiate, I suppose you could though. I never think to try to bargain. I worked with Sherry over the phone, she was super sweet. I'm bummed they don't do email so it's all verbal. I've only had that one phone call so I'm hoping everything is still good to go, i'll be calling again as the date gets closer. I read their reviews on yelp and they were good too. We went with the oriental menu ($10/pp) and are adding haupia.

mmm Tanioka's they're really good.  I had them for my graduation party and everyone was satisfied with the food.  This post makes me want to go and eat their fried chicken and fish patties :)  Good add on with the Haupia...super good! :)

thanks for the feedback! I'm so excited to try them! Sparklegirl- did you tell them it was for a wedding? They have two different menu's and a special menu for Weddings. Did you also get your drinks with them?

We went with the special menu since our guest list is only 30. The wedding menu is for 50+ guests. They did ask if it was for a wedding and I said yes, didn't affect anything though. No we're not getting drinks from them. We're going to costco and the liqour store on base (my dad is retired navy). Just having bottled water, bottled beers, soda and wine.

I don't know about their catering. but their food espicially their poke is amazing. A must try. We have been there three time this week just to pick up poke to keep in our cooler/fridge as a snack. So yummy.
