Invites- Vistaprint? C&P?

Hi Girls! I've been a little MIA for awhile (new roles at work, certifications, house searching and purchasing!) but I was hoping you'd be able to help an old knottie out!

It's setting in that I am almost 5 months from the day and I don't have much of what I need. Invitations are the next biggie on my list! Aside from bridesmaid dresses--yes I know, 2.5 year engagement- I'm horrible!

Anyone use Vistaprint or Cards and Pockets? What did you think about quality, service, price? I like Cards and Pockets but the site confuses me. Other company suggestions?

TIA!

Congrats on your house that's HUGE news! :0)

I used C&P and LOOOOOVED them! Their colors, quality of materials, and customer service were awesome! I had them do my printing too so I didn't have to fight with my printer haha. So I just sent them my designs, they printed everything out and sent me the kits and I assembled everything. Pics in my planning bio under DIY. I think Melissa and Carrie used them too last year around the same time as well.

My mom used Vista Print for the shower invites and rehearsal dinner invites and they came out great, but they weren't fancy enough to me for our actual wedding invites.

I was wondering where you went!!! Welcome back :)

I'm doing the same thing right now. (I was also lagging on the dresses but finally ordered in Dec).
I'm going with C&P. I agree- it's so confusing!!! But I just sent them an email last night, asking some questions. They got right back to me this morning and were awesome.
I have to admit.... I'm still confused...haha. But I'm going to order samples soon and go from there.

this exactly! I loooved C&P for our invites, and Vistaprint for the shower and rehearsal dinner invites.

I ordered everything from C&P and put it together, but my MOH printed for me, so I don't have experience with their printing.

Thanks for the welcome back :) Been busy but I have lurked here and there.

Vistaprint looks so much easier but I did wonder about the quality. I know the girls who have used C&P have been happy. How do I get the nice designs and borders???

C&P is in Massachussets, and you can totally visit the store (they also have an annual sale in the summer when things are 50-70% off - worth keeping an eye out for if you have awhile!).  If you're really confused, visiting it can help as you can actually hold the pieces.

<div>Are you serious????!!!!??? I can go to an actual store? I just googled it.  Since I've been living in MA, they've been 30 minutes away from me the whole time. </div>

I agree with Alise and Kate... C&P all the way!  They are extremely helpful too as others have mentioned.  I had them lay out our invite design and do the printing.  I then did all the assembly.  They really have the process down.  If you have a general idea of what you want it to look like, they can walk you through exactly which materials you want, how to go about doing your own printing (or having them do it), etc.  Seriously, use the people there are a resource if you have questions.  They are quick to get back over email.

I used Vistaprint for RD invites and STDs.  The quality is nowhere near the same.  They do mass producted stuff really and don't provide much help with customizing designs, etc.  You pretty much pick their designs or upload your own.  There were definitely quality control issues with my STDs.  The whole first batch that I was sent was misprinted and words were cut off.  They were very quickly to reprint and send me new ones though.  Don't get me wrong, they are GREAT for the value, but I would not recommend them for your more formal invites.  Other things though, yes, they're great.

I only used C&P for my invite booklet cover but the quality is good, you can't go wrong :)
