  I hope you have an amzing bridal shower weekend! I totally know how it feels working all week and weekend.  I hope you get a chance to talk to your boss and tell him that you really need to be there for more than just a few hours.

  Thanks, ladies. I ended up leaving work around 3pm today because I passed out. I was dehydrated and exhausted.
  
  I went to the doctor and turns out I have walking pneumonia - so, I'm not QUITE being dramatic when I'm saying my job makes me sick
  
  In any event, I took some medicine for the pneumonia, and the fever FINALLY broke, so now I'm actually feeling a little bit better. Since I lost a day of work today I'll probably have to work this weekend but hopefully I can do it on Sunday and not on Saturday.

  Oh my gosh - you are definitely working too hard if your job is literally making you sick! I hope you are feeling a lot better today. It seems like what you need the most is some rest.

  oh my god girl....I am so sorry!! thank goodness you were able to go to the doctor and get some medicine. I am glad you are feeling better but don't push yourself too much today!!!!

  I still don't get it. Don't you have sick days that you can use? Are they really allowed to make you work this much??
  
  Are you planning on leaving this job though?
  
  I am so sorry you're going through this, I cannot imagine doing something that would make me sick. I get sick easily if I don't have enough sleep or if I am really stressed. Hugs!

  Yes, I technically have sick days, but if there's a court deadline and I have work to do, I can't just not do it That's unfortunately kind of why it sucks so badly - nothing waits while you're sick.
  
  The good news is that my biscuit of a boss actually has been really understanding about me being out. He hasn't even bothered me today. I didn't wake up or check my blackberry until 3pm. Still feel pretty awful, but much better than yesterday, which was kind of scary.
  
  And yes - I will only be in NY for another few months (probably like 8ish months) so at least there's kind of an end in sight. If I wasn't leaving, I would be much more concerned.
