I don't know if this is exactly "traditional" but this is what I'm doing to follow the customs of my family....
-Provide boutineers for every member of the family (especially grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins)
-There needs to be a rep for the groom's family and translations if you think it's necessary.
-Are you doing bi-lingual invitations?  That was a necessity for me (tri-lingual for me!)
-How about wearing a traditional ao dai? If you do, make sure you wear the jacket and hat. It's not too expensive...
-During reception, you and groom visit EVERY table. The "head" of the table can make a toast to the bride and groom and takes a shot of liquor with the groom. (Best man can take the shot if the groom has had too much lol)...during this tradition, you would change into your ao dai.
