  • Take a break and do a little at a time.
What else do you have left to do? Any DIY projects?

  • I'm sorry (hugs)

  • I know what you mean...we was supposed to be getting married 7/7/12 then in the midst of planning FI before xmas 2011 said we should push it back to 2013. So I took a major break...I had surgery in Feb and start thinking about a new date like in april of this year. And now that 7/7 is this saturday I'm so glad we did cause I don't think I've wouldve been ready !!! Sorry I hijacked....this took me back a bit lol So I say yes take a major break and just enjoy it, revise somethings and save the extra money for something u might not of been able to get ! For ex: at first we wouldn't of been able to get a videographer but because we waited now we got one !!! It will all work out in the end !!!!

  • I would agree to take a break...just get all your ducks in line and gives you extra time to save!!!

misstira I looked  and booked in late 2010 for our December 2012 wedding I was able to get a summer special. My point is although you're early you can lock in current rates and see if some of your favorite venues have specials going on

  • I agree with the others....and have to say as a bride who had to push her wedding back also first...it is NO fun. I agree and it feels like postponing the inevitable, which for someone like me (who is VERY VERY VERYYYYY SHORT on patience, like that virture is nowhere in the building) that only adds to the frustration.

    Buttt...

like the others have said I found that pushing it back is actually better than I believed it would be. I thought for a fact I was going to be "bored'...but that's not the case at all! I'm able to take more time, be more thorough. For my invites I can "dress them up" now and take my time addressing them and just doing the little "extras" I wouldn't have been able to do. So its bittersweet and the best advice I can give is just to enjoy every minute of it. You are STILL engaged and a Bride-To-Be so...that's good times right! :)
