Inappropriate or not?

Hey y'all!
I was wondering if it's inappropriate to put a direct link of something I want on our wedding blog underneath the "Registry" tab? The website that has it does not have a registry feature, so I thought I could just put the link to that particular object on the blog.

    Because it's on your blog, I don't think it's inappropriate at all! Almost every wedding website has "Registry" links

    Do you mean one individual item? I would do an Amazon universal registry and put the item on that, then put the link to *that* on your wedding website. Otherwise you run the risk of 8 or 9 people getting you the same 1 item that you really want, if I'm reading your question correctly.
