Florida Beach Wedding Location Suggestions (Miami, Sarasota, West Palm, Boca etc)

My fiance and I both live in Windermere, FL (Central FL) and are currently reluctant to shell out the cost to hire a wedding planner to locate the perfect venue for our outdoor beach wedding. I wanted to see if any of you might have any suggestions for a quaint but classy venue on the beach for a small 30 - 40 person wedding.

We can obviously easily find all the popular destinations (Ritz etc.) Just looking for feedback from some locals along the costal regions of FL. We are completely open to all beach loactions.

Please share. GO!

Thanks for the help!Cool

you can also look at the venues list on here for ideas or even google them ... my only suggestion is definitely take the time to look at them in person. we just booked our venue and I made appts based on budget .... some of the places we looked at the pictures online were ehh but gorgous when you went there, an those that had amazing pictures were ehh in person.
  • Not sure Where you want to go, but in Daytona there are quiite a few areas on the beach, if you want to go with a resort, like the Shores or the Hilton. Or in Ponce Inlet, people get married at the lighthouse point park.
  • My aunt got married at a place near Naples called Manasota Beach Club. I'm not sure about their prices, but it was a beautiful wedding and very private. You can have your ceremony under the gorgeous tree hammocks or on the beach and they have private villas your guests can rent out for the weekend.
