So I went to a SUPER LAME wedding expo on Sunday, but I got one good thing out of it.  My day of transportation!!  For 950 we get "unlimited" hours in a stretch hummer!  I even got it so they limo will drop us off early and pick up the guests that our staying in our wedding block! Yaya for extra guest convience all in one fee.  The coordinator said if they don't book anything after 7 they will stay and drive my guest home too! (for an extra tip of course)

I also didn't have flowers yet!! I have been calling/emailing/anythinging to find decent quotes because I was planning on DIYing them, but my dad/gma convinced me not too.  I have made good progress with two different companies so hopefully something pans out.

I STILL cant find a hair stylist.  Am I crazy, but I don't think my blow out is worth $150!  I'm about ready to post a craigslist add and see if I can find some one to do it cheaper.

Buuuut Bridal Shower Friday and Bachelorette Pary on Sat!  YAY! I can't focus on work at all this week because I'm so excited.

    That's a pretty sweet price for the limo! Who are you going through for your limo?

    For your hair, did you talk to your normal salon - maybe not mention the word wedding?  They wouldn't come to your house probably, but you might get a better price.

    as for a salon, I would see about booking an appt. but like PP said don't mention it is for a wedding or they will like triple the price...

    go get your hair done, then after put your dress on... if that is an option will save you some $ :D

    Weeeeelll I am so cheap! haha I usually go to a beauty school  (and for past formals and events I've gone to them as well but I don't want to give up that time on the big day!)  I'm leaving out the word wedding now, let's see what happens!

    Ericaandtom2012:  I am not 100% sure of the company name.  I actually was just talking to the owner at the expo and got his cell # and I don't remember looking at what was behind him!  I can look when I get home from work at update you!   I'm not 100% sure but I think him/his wife own the hummer limo and occasionally they get a driver? That's what it's seems like to me.  But I'll send along his info later!

    Sweet! Thanks so much thale!  Limo is one of the things that I'm hoping to get done this weekend. How many people does it seat?  If it holds 12, you should see if he has a referral program that you could get a discount for - I'm totally willing to name drop to get someone else a better deal.  :)

    Haha.  So sorry this is super late. The company is Platinum Occasions. I guess they do dj services too? I didn't even realize until I found the flyer.  I also have a 10% off coupon...so tell them you have one too!  The number is 630.620.0469.   It's a hummer limo that seats 18 I believe?
