Did you use this photography company?

I have a very small wedding photography budget. A close friend who does professional photography was going to do it dirt cheap for us, but special circumstances came up that made her un-able to attend our wedding. Due to this I only have $800 (absolute MAX) to spend on photography...but I don't want to risk quality too much. Here is a list of a few I've compiled that are in the $700 to $800 range for 4 - 6 hrs of coverage. Did you use any of them? Can I see your pictures? I have seen the look books on the websites, but I feel like those are always the best of the best and dosen't give you a real feel for how *most* of the pictures will turn out.

I did not use any of those. There was recently a post of an unhappy bride who used Laura Leigh Photography tho.

Julie (Mariegra) used William T. Moore and I believe she was pretty happy with his work.

I did not use one of the photographers on your list but we used Simply Mella Photography (aka Melanie). She was fantastic! We are still getting compliments on both our engagement session and our wedding pictures. Her prices are VERY reasonable. I think our wedding was around $800 and we paid extra for additional hours and we also paid to have her drive 3+ hours up to Maine!

After posting this I found out some pricing on "Portrait New England" and was really suprised to see how good their pricing is for not only 1 photographer, but 2! I have read great reviews on them but they didn't have pricing on their site and I assumed because you get two photographers that it would be at least over $1200. I e-mailed them and am praying they have my date available still!

Kfudge- I ended up searching for the post with the bad review, and umm yeah.. crossing that option off the list! She was my first choice before you commented so thanks a bunch for allowing me to avoid that disaster!

I'm using Iris Leaf photography. Not getting married until October, but I am thrilled with them so far- very fun, personable, professional, beautiful pictures, quick to respond to e-mails... etc. You get two photographers included in all of their packages. You can see a bunch of photos on their facebook page.
