It depends how big your candies are. If you have suckers or rock candies they take up a lot of space, but if you have small candy I think it's sufficient.

were doing smaller candies like sixlets, army gummy guys, chocolate covered cashews (fiancees favorite!), etc...do u think thatd be ok...hobby lobby has 250 for like $5

At least for my wedding reception, I think it's plenty enough. My guests are primarily adults and the candy is going to be last on their list of things to indulge in, we have a handful of children, but other than that I don't think anyone will be upset over a 4x6 bag.

Yeah. We had a small family party yesterday with around 1/4 of our wedding guests in attendance and I can honestly say I was told more than once "Amanda, don't spend much on the decor and favors - we're all coming for the party, the drinks, and a great time!"

I'm still going to add things that I want, but they're right - a wedding really is just a big party for your friends to enjoy with you haha, they'll appreciate your candies - but no one will care if you spent $5 at the hob lob, or $15 for 1inch bigger elsewhere!

bags may be good, but we thought about that too and are doing a little chineese take out box for about 50 cents a piece. then you can add a cute logo sticket or message on it to personalize it.  Also Oriental trading website has little containers like pails, flower pits etc that they can fill too
