  You can have a judge or a justice of the peace perform a non-denominational ceremony.   You can also look into a self-uniting marriage license in PA.

  The officiant I'm using is Rev. Bonnie MacDade.  She will customize your ceremony exactly how you want it.  She was pretty highly recommended and has been a breeze to work with so far.  Her email is bonniemacdade@gmail.com if you are interested in checking her out.

  We are both atheists and opted to go the self uniting route. We don't have any connections to any judges/county clerks/mayors or other civil officials who perform weddings, and we weren't comfortable having any religious official, however loosely tied to a church, perform the ceremony. Our ceremony was perfect. We asked several family and friends to lead certain sections and pronounced ourselves married at the end. We had no problems getting the license in Chester County, my understanding is that it can be difficult in certain counties.
