Rotunda

Has anyone been there? We have a showing scheduled for Thursday. We are in love with their menu, but the venue just looks kind of blah to me. Does it look better in person? We are also considering Cuvee using the same caterer, but we haven't seen the venue yet either. Are there any other elegant halls where we can bring our own caterer? Almost all of the really nice places have in house caterers.

The Rotunda in Waukesha is absolutely beautiful!  Just wait until you see it.  Very unique.

Cuvee is a really cool venue.  I'm assuming you're not having a HUGE wedding seeing as how you're considering Cuvee as a venue.   With that said, I would HIGHLY recommend looking into Villa Filomena in downtown Milwaukee.  It's located over by The Astor.  You can use your own caterer, even one that is not on their list of preferred caterers, as long as they have a license.

You might want to check out our venue - the Elm Grove Woman's Club (egwc.org).  It is an elegant location with a lot included in the rental fee (plus free parking).  They have 15+ caterers on their approved list, but you can bring your own in if they have all the right insurance and licences.

The Wauwatosa Womans Club is very nice. The also have a place in downtown Milwaukee called the Grace Center its really unique. Can use your own caterer long as they are licensed and insured. I think you have to be out of the building by 12am. I feel in love with it.
