When nature calls....

...what do you do? I mean, I KNOW what you do but I am hoping that I don't have to go so much when I have my wedding dress on!  Any tips or ideas as to how you can avoid this dilemma? I mean, I have to eat and drink! I just recall that scene from 27 Dresses when Katherine Hiegel is holding up the brides dress as she wees. lol

On a sunny note, hope everyone is having a great Thanksgiving holiday so far!!!

    Oh geez, I think you need someone to help you! I always have to go when I'm nervous.... so I see myself doing this right before the ceremony aghhh!! I have no advice... hopefully some marrieds will! Wink

    I think I got off easy because our ceremony was at noon, so I didn't have much time to drink a lot.  I skipped my morning coffee.  My adrenaline was running full blast, so I didn't need it.  I think I had 1 glass of water, but that was it.  I went to the bathroom RIGHT before getting into my dress.

    My dress was not that big, so I was able to just hold it up while I went.  I also had a reception dress and that was even easier. 

    Mainly, I think it depends on your dress.  Also, once you are at the reception, you don't really have the time to drink anything.  I may have had a glass of water with lunch, but after that I 'lost' every glass of wine that I got.

    MY BFF had to hold my dress up for me! It was so embarrassing! Good thing I only had to go once the whole night!

    lol Thanks for all the stories! My dress has an attached chapel train and I will be wearing a crinoline skirt too so it'll be an adventure. =) The ceremony is at 5 so I think I'll be just fine.

    I'm nervous about this!  I had a VERY sesitive/anxious stomach!  It may have a mind of it's own that day and I don't want to have any um....emergency nature calls with people present holding up my dress!!!!!!!!!!!  Oh don't make me think about it LOL

    LOL haha Sorry, I actually woke up yesterday thinking about this and it scared me too! I'm hoping that with all the fun stuff going on I won't even THINK about going until it's all over. <crossing my fingers> =)

    jackelbride..yes! that is soo true! haha and of course, we should return the favor to whoever does it for us!

    My friends helped me gather my dress up so I could hold it myself and they left while I went wee, but they did see me in my undies, - which is no big deal because they saw me in my undies earlier when they helped me get dressed. 

    Luckily that was only once that night, but I tried not to drink much.

    Yeah, I have a sensitive tummy too...so I'm worried about that....

    But hopefully it won't be too bad.

    Our ceremony is going to be infront of a fountain, and when I'm nervous espeically, I tend to have to pee when I hear running water, so I'll probably have to make a trip before the reception...grr.
