Dress Shopping in harrisburg

Where is a good place to go dress shopping in the harrisburg area? I don't have a problem with David's Bridal but I think my mom would like a little more intimate setting like a boutique. Where have people looked?

    Try Taylored for You in Mechanicsburg. I got my MOB dress there but they looked like they had a gorgoeus selection of wedding gowns. It is the cutest little shop and Taylor is just wonderful to work with.

    I got my gown, along with MOB dress and BM dresses, at Cocoa Couture in Hershey. There are mixed feelings about that salon on this board, but I think the consensus after a debate a few months back was that, as long as you don't go there on a Saturday, when the place is mobbed, you'll have a good experience.

    Just don't take it personally if the guy at the desk is hot-and-cold. I've had great interactions w/ him.... others haven't.

    There's also Gowns By Design on the Car. Pike. They were nice, though not as big a selection of designers.

    I second Taylored For You in Mechanicsburg!

    Taylor is very friendly and they have a nice selection of dresses.

    I bought my dress at Tara's Bridal in Camp Hill. They are right on Market Street in the Boro. They were great!
