DON'T USE THIS DJ!

A warning to all brides in the Central PA area - do not use MixMaster Entertainment (DJ Seth Michaels.) At our wedding they were unprofessional (advertising for themselves even though I explicitly told them not to, bringing their gfs and making out, fraternizing with guests during cigarette breaks that were taken every 5-10 minutes, etc.) The DJs karaoke setup was horrible - he promised to have a print out of songs which he did not provide, and he didn't even know how to use his own software. Our two hours of karaoke turned into about 8 songs with him taking so long to find them. When one of our groomsmen asked the DJ to please get his act together - he got upset and went to his car to cry. He then had the nerve to demand that one of our guests pay for the hour that he was in the car (which I refused to do.) He was an absolute disaster. We are currently working with the Better Business Bureau to get a refund that he is refusing to provide.

    Omg I am so sorry to hear that. I hope everything else for your big day turned out ok. A DJ can really make or break it.
    Please go on weddingwire.com and review him too. A lot of brides use that sight for reviews. Give him as many bad reviews as possible. Brides look at these and it can really hurt a business with bad reviews.
    Sounds like he was a teenager? Or was he just a grown man acting like one?

    AGREE!

    I used this DJ as well. He is very young, inexperienced, and although he prounouned most of the names correctly and played music, that is where the positives end. He played the wrong song when it was time to dance with my father, he called me "Jason" during a game we played, and his "assistant" (friend)  was behind a window directly behind my ceremony taking videos and pictures (without notifying us of this) and can be seen in very many of my ceremony photographs which makes me IRATE. All I got as a response was that he apologizes, was unaware of this, and will let his "Assistant" know.

    UPDATE:
    He replied to the better business bureau with lies about his performance and said that the reason that the reception suffered was because my wedding guests were unruly and very intoxicated. FALSE!

    He also sent me a letter from his lawyer basically telling me to stop giving bad reviews about him. PLEASE - I'm BEGGING you - don't make the same mistake that I did!!
