I was supposed to have my ceremony at Chapel of the Flowers but cancelled and booked it at Mandalay Bay. After reading about all the problems with the Vista Suite if you didn't have your ceremony at Mandalay, I got worried. I lost my $100 deposit from COF but I guess that's better than having our reception cut short and our guests getting kicked out.
My wedding is 2 weeks away so this has caused some stress trying to reorganize. My orginal time was already booked so I had to move the ceremony from 5pm to 3pm. Then I had to contact all my vendors to change the time and hope that they were still available. Which, luckily, they were!
Then on top of that, the photographer I was going to fly up with us from Miami, that only wanted us to pay for his flight and hotel, decided to increase his prices to $3000 last week! So of course I declined. I emailed Bently Wilson immediately, hoping and praying he was available on such short notice. I didn't hear from him all weekend and went on a rampage looking for an affordable good photographer. I was about to give up when Bently Wilson called us this week and said he was free the day of our wedding!
I feel like everything is finally coming together. Let's hope nothing else happens...
