I feel like we're so behind everyone else since everyone is talking about buying a house lol but we just got approved for our first apartment together! We were still living at home and wanted to wait to move in together until it got closer to the wedding, and I just found out today that we got approved :) So happy!

    Congrats!

    FI and I have been trying for about 7 months to buy a house in this crazy market and we're just about ready to throw in the towel and just rent. We both live at home and would love a place of our own as well.

    Congratulations!! I know exactly how you feel. FI and I just got an apartment... I am the only one living here tho. He won't move in until after the wedding.

    Congrats! 
    The only reason we decided to buy our house last year was because we realized it was cheaper to own than rent in our area. Our rent was $300 more a month when we bought it a year ago! (based on the way our rent would have increased we would be up to $400 more a month now)

    Good luck and have fun. Beginning to live with your FI is a big step and you learn a lot about the other person even if you've been with them for years! We would not be starting the process of buying a house right now if we weren't almost pushed into it. We wanted to wait and build..on our 6 acres we own in the country..but this house is a great deal so we're happy! PLUS we already live there so NO MOVING!! Yay!
