Church Suggestions Needed

Does anyone have any suggestions for churches in the White Bear Lake, Oakdale, Stillwater area (surrounding areas ok...ideally 15-20 min or closer to Oakdale).  I have looked into St. Andrew's in Mahtomedi and they are $1000 and First United Methodist in Stillwater.  Looking to spend around $300 for renting the church, and ideally would like Methodist so FI aunt could marry us.

    I don't want to be a debbie downer but 1000 is pretty normal rate for a church rental from what I saw when I was planning my own wedding and helping my sister with hers.  Maybe other ladies will have suggestions for you but I'm not sure you'll find much better rates than that.

    holy cow.  i'm getting married in river falls, wi, but our catholic church doesn't "charge", they just say we should make a donation to the church.  (i think).  $1000 seems like a LOT.  does it make a difference if you join the church?  we're members of the church we're getting married in.  they might give a price break to members.

    I would think you can find a better rate.  We're getting married at United Church of Christ in New Brighton and we only have to do a donation (suggested donation was somewhere in the $200-300 range).
