Wedding planner advice

Hi Knotties, I need your help!
I have been shopping around for a wedding planner to help with reception decor, executing a theme and overall vision/feel (I've already booked most of my vendors myself). We are also considering a DOC. Has anyone used Bendora Wedding Gallery or Joie De Vivre? I have met with these two vendors and am feeling stuck on a decision. I left the consultations feeling totally different, and they also differ by about $1,000...making for a tough decision. Any advice or recommendations??

BAYB153 -- I haven't posted in a while, but pop on from time to see what's up.  Do I remember your saying your reception is at the Blackwell?  Is Blaire still there?  If so, she would serve as your DOC, and she's a great one at that!  I had the same issue trying to decide who to book, and was very close to booking Ana Titus (if you aren't sold on Blaire for some reason, look into her!), but I spoke with Blaire prior to booking and she mentioned that she would be there as our DOC on the day of.  She was perfect, and best of all, came with our reception site.  HTH and GL!

I'm with Bendora right now and I LOVE LOVE LOVE Morgan. She's been a godsend and I am SO glad I hired her. My wedding isn't until next year so I'm doing the agent and DOC packages but I have NO DOUBTS at all about my decision. Go Bendora!

I'm a client of Joie de Vivre Events and I would highly recommend Sabrina to every bride-to-be. I knew I wanted a WP as soon as I got engaged having seen friends of mine either have or not have a wedding planner. The only friend I knew that had a wedding planner used, Joie de Vivre. Everything and I mean eeeeverything was cohesive, stunning, elegant, and perfectly and exactly my friends, the brides style and vision. I was so impressed and knew that Joie de Vivre was who I would book as our wedding planner when my FI proposed. My mom thought it was ludacris, but as soon as we had our first meeting and she saw just 1/2 of what was involved in planning a basic wedding....she was on board to hire Sabrina. lol Who ever knew planning a wedding would be so pain-stakingly stressful! Joie de Vivre has really helped me r-e-l-a-x during this entire process, as teeeend to get a little overwhelmed at times....! lol I'm in nursing school, just started a new job, looking for a new condo or house, etc.
PM me if you have any questions. Sabrina would meet with you for a free consult (no pressure....she's very respectful and understanding as an individual, and very professional and organized) to answer any questions you might have for her. Definitely check her out! :)

That's great! I'm glad you found someone/somewhere that you're comfortable with for helping you plan your wedding day! It's so relieving once you've found the right person. :)
