BM Dress Alterations

I am a bridesmaid in a wedding later this fall. I expect to receive my dress next weekend, but the bride tells me that it will probably be too big for me. As a result, I expect that I need to have some serious alterations done, though, of course, I don't know exactly what, yet. 

Does anyone have any recommendations for who to go to for BM dress alterations?

    I had contacted Janet Kirkman to inquire about bridemaids dress alterations.  She does do them and I believe she said it would take 2-3 weeks, but I'm not too sure about that.  She also sent me pricing info.  Based on all of the ladies that have had wonderful experiences with her, I would suggest contacting her.

    My daughter had her first fitting with Janet on Monday great lady. I would HIGHLY recommend her! She was very nice to work with and didn't push anything on us.

    Fantastic! I had heard Janet's name a lot for wedding dresses, and when I glanced at her site, I didn't see much else. I'm glad to hear you all recommend her for this dress, too.

    I'll give her a buzz and see what she can do to make this dress fit!

    I just took 2 of my bridesmaids to get their dresses altered with Janet and she was really wonderful at the fitting. They are going to pick them up in a few weeks closer to the wedding. I am going next Friday for my fitting with her
