I just wanted to share some happy news with everyone... last July I kicked up my workout routine big time. I was always pretty slim but wanted to tone and build muscle. I am lucky enough to have a gym at work that offers tons of classes at all different times of the day so I joined the gym at work and started finding classes that I loved.
Along with the gym, we also have a full medical center that offers free bod-pod exams. (the bod-pod measures your BMI and is the most accurate... they use it on the Biggest Loser) So to truly track my progress, I did a Bod-Pod Exam in July.
I have been feeling great over the past few months! I have more energy and just feel better overall and while I haven't lost any weight (scale-weight), I have noticed that my clothes are fitting differently and I can see some toning in my arms, abs, and legs.
I just did another Bod-Pod exam last week and was so excited to see that I had lost 3 pounds of pure fat!!! My BMI dropp 1.5 points and although the scale didn't change that much (1 pound), it feels great to know that all of the hard work I've been putting in is actually paying off.
I am not a believer of diet pills and really wanted to change my body the "old fashioned way". For all of you who don't believe, it really can be done. It hasn't been easy (yes I would love french fries and a milkshake) but it has definitely been worth it.
