I have no idea where to start when picking a makeup artist for my wedding!  Can anyone suggest someone they really liked in the Chicago or NW suburbs area?  Thanks!

    I recommend Blend Beauty (formerly Cynthia Sally). Maris did my makeup, and make up for two of my BM's and my mom. Cynthia is great as well. They do airbrush.

    Without a doubt make sure you check out Sonia Roselli.  They, in my opinion, are the best at what they do in the greater Chicago area.  They have a super cute boutique in the Evanston/Chicago area, and everyone is so nice and sweet.  I'm not going to lie, they are a little on the more expensive end, but they treat you like you are the only bride they are concerned with, and their talent is just out of this world!  Their makeup artists all have celebrity clientele and know how to apply makeup so it looks stunning on camera.  They do airbrush, and they do it fabulously!  Don't book a makeup artist without checking them out.  Good luck!

    Kim Nather did my makeup (beauty by brush) for my engagement pics, wedding, and trash the dress session- she is super sweet, very reasonably priced, and I loved her work. She also did 4-5 different looks at the trial to ensure I loved it before she was done.

    I used a freelance MAC artist and she was AMAZING!!!!  i was married on 11/19 so impressed.  She was great at communicating with me before the wedding which is not always typical.  She showed up early the day of and was very calm and pleasant. She did my makeup 4 times during the trial until it was just right and she replicated it perfectly the day of.  She did a great job with the rest of the bridal party as well. I negotiated my pricing so I don’t remember exactly what her pricing is but definitely talk with her and if it isn’t a busy time she may work with you. I THINK she was around $120 or so for trial and day of wedding.  The girls were $60.  Everyone had fake eyelashes.  I hope this helps but I would definitely call her.  It is Maria and her number is 708-420-3604.  good luck.

    I used Tamara Makeup and Hair and they were all amazing! They traveled and everyone looks amazing! She also used MAC and does airbrush.

    SHe lives in Oak Brook but does travel to different locations. I would highly recommend her!
