I'm off to my first fitting in about an hour. Any advice?

Bring your jewelry and any other accessories with you so you can put your whole look together. This is what I did and it was helpful to see how it would all look (minus the hair and make up, and I still don't have a veil). And HAVE FUN!!!

    Edit: DON"T FORGET YOUR SHOES!!!
  • bring everything you want to wear on that day so you can see it together and make any adjustments if need be!!

I got blood on the front of my dress on my 2nd fitting from getting poked -- thank god the lady go it out asap! And it was nice to really see the full picutre with the veil, jewelry, shoes, etc. Not to mention you need your shoes if you need a hem  :)

  • Omg I also got pricked with a pin at my first fitting and a dot of blood got on the dress. The woman doing my alterations was able to remove it immediately. So glad to hear this didn't only happen to me. Haha. So I guess that is the best advice--don't get pricked by a pin!!!! Also bring everything you will wear on wedding day(shoes, under garments, etc.) post pictures later if you can!!!

  • Update: I did get pricked by a pin but no blood luckily! The bad part was when I locked my knees while standing there and nearly collapsed on the seamstress who was half my height! The poor woman was so sweet and took care of me. Just in case anyone was wondering how it went haha but otherwise I'm very happy with how the look is coming together!
