Wedding hair and makeup suggestions..

Hi everyone- new to the knot and trying to find out two things. first of all is there a place on the knot that you can look at vendor reviews besides going through all the posts? Second I am looking up make up and hair stylists in Orlando, FL.  Any personal favorites?
Has anyone ever worked with Lupe Muller? She gave me a great quote of 145 for hair and makeup and trial with no travel charges. Her website has limited pictures so I am looking for any recommendations.

Congrats and welcome to the board!

I am not familiar with Lupe Muller.  The most popular on this board are Patricia LeJeune (who I am using for make-up), Meghann Davis and Natalie from Knockout Artistry.  Hope that helps.

I'm not familiar with lupe but I cannot highly enough recommend Meghann Davis.  I was so glad I hired her for my wedding.  She did airbrush make up and she was well worth the price.  My make up lasted all day for 12 hours. I didn't take formal portraits till four PM in the blazing heat outside and she put my make up on at nine AM.  I never got to look in the mirror once or touch up my make up and it looks perfect in every picture.  The photographer even commented on how well the make up photographed.  She also helped sort out difficulties with another vendor, helped put food away, helped me calm down when I got really stressed out and was overall a really upbeat personality to be around on my wedding day.

Also, I know this is hard to believe when you are on a budget but I would never ever hire somebody based on price alone. What matters the most is reviews.  Find someone with lots of amazing reviews and see if you can work something out with them in your price range.  If you don't like your make up and hair, you won't like any of your pictures and that would really suck.

i recommend going through people's bios and seeing whose makeup you like! my favorites in town are Leslie at Studio Cara (mine) and Michelle Hundley (luckilyinlove's). Natalie from Knockout is good too, but be careful that you don't look washed out!  I had a trial with her and wasn't happy at all but she seems to be better with deeper skin tones.
