So far away but progress

I got my knot email that my wedding is 17 months away. Ugh too far. So instead of pouting I decided to try etching some wine glasses. I want to use these as part of the centerpieces because FI and I met in Italy plus we both really love wine. Here are my first attempts with some samples stencils I got from Etsy. Crappy photos sorry!
 
So now I just have to order a whole bunch from Etsy and start collecting/find cheap wine glasses.

O and MY DRESS CAME IN! I managed to be home in time for the holidays to go see it before the dress shop closed. It wasnt pressed but you can hardly tell. Also it will really only need a hem and a bustle, maybe cups sewen in but not much else! Yay!!! only 17 more months!!!!

    Gorgeous! I love your dress on you! It definitely flatters you.

    As for the glasses- they're really pretty! Look at the dollar store for wine glasses- I got most of my glassware for the WP from there.

    GORGEOUS!  I love it!  What a great check, having your dress!

    And ditto Paprika about the Dollar Store- also check out Deals (on Kirkwood Hwy).  Depending on how many you need, you can buy them by the case online off of Dollar Tree and Deals websites.

    Soontobe- haha I know. My family and FI's have said many many times that we should just have the wedding THIS June. But this was always the plan (to get wayyy ahead/on top of things) while I was looking for a job. And now i start on Friday! :D so I have a feeling wedding planning is going to go by the wayside for several months.
