New Jersey - South

I don't know where to start- looking for a venue

I am looking for a non-traditional venue in south Jersey and I dont even know how to search for it.  If I type "venue south jersey" into a google search and places like the mansion or lucien's manor come up.  I ahven't pin-pointed exactly what I am looking for, but I want something less flashy than these places.

Any ideas on venues or even just how to search for something like this?
Thanks in advance!

There are a few wineries that may be in the middle... kinda non-traditional and casual (compared to a church/country club wedding) but still wedding-y (yes, I made that up!).  There's Tomasello in Hammonton, Valenzano in Shamong, and Renault  in Egg Harbor City (more formal).

You could always try one of the boat houses, parks, a nice restaurant that doubles as a party venue, or try some place closer to the beach.

Adventure Aquarium in Camden is very pretty.  They have formal dinner packages but the venue is far from traditional.

    partyspace.com is really helpful!

I've also decided to start to contact caterers and ask them about unusual venues.

    Thanks for the help!

Did you check the vendor list on here?  I actually ended up looking into the Phily suburb area because so many of the places in SJ were sort of cookie cutter.  There are some gorgeous mansions and estates and bed and breakfasts in PA.  It really depends on where the majority of your guests are coming from or how far you're willing to go.  There are some great places in the Lansdale area and the prices aren't all that bad.  Good luck!
