Honeymoon destination help!

My fiance and I need advice on where to go for our honeymoon. Our budget is around $3,000, and our wedding is the first weekend in June. We would like to go somewhere with beaches, but we would like to have options of other things to do in the area. Does anyone have any suggestions of places??

We are planning on going to the PuntaCana, Dominican Republic which we have found to be very affordable. I'm getting married the second week in June which is considered the off season there and our budget is about the same.

We spent 7 days and nights in Isla Mujeres, Mexico, and our entire budget, with cabs, excursions, flights, and AI resort was 3100. If you just went for 6 days, that would still be a lengthy honeymoon and you could go under your budget!

most places in the caribbean/central america that are on the ocean fit that criteria. imo you need to narrow down what else you want to do-adventure stuff, food, history, visiting other islands etc....
