Would someone please tell me where the weekend went?  I seem to have misplaced a few of those hours.

I survived shopping during tax free weekend.  My Granny now has something to wear to the wedding :).

And I didn't get a single envelope addressed, so now I have a ton of those to do this week.  Goal mailing date is Aug 15.

How were y'all's weekends?

    girl, i hear ya! i can't believe i'm already sitting at work again!

    i didn't do any tax-free shopping, although i did go with a girlfriend of mine to the bridal expo in Charlotte yesterday. tons of vendors, but i'm already pretty much set- i ate WAY too much cake for my own good!

    Oh man! I completely understand :-/ It took me all day to clean our apartment yesterday and I didn't get to the grocery store :-(.

    I always hate short weekends, I felt like I accomplished a lot but didn't get any of my stuff (all moved into FI's house!) sorted at all. However, we did move some furniture so we can now officially close the door to the guest room when we have company. We can't get IN to the guest room, but baby steps! :)

    Yay for finding your granny something to wear Mary! My mom and I are going to look next weekend. I invited FMIL along, but as usual she was a bit rude about it and insinuated it was way too early to look. Then she told me she'll probably wear beige... I don't necessarily have a problem with that but my dress is a darker ivory, I feel like we may end up wearing the same color! Oh well. I'm picking my battles. This is not one I pick. :-P

    This weekend did pass by WAY too fast! We got a little bit done but definitely not as much as we would have liked to, as usual ;-)

    Mary, I am right there with you on the short weekend!  I did accomplish to get about half of my invitations addressed.  I am just waiting for my return address labels that I special ordered to arrive before I send them out.  They are supposed to come on Thursday, so that's my scheduled day to get them in the mail.  I'm about a week behind because I almost forgot to order the labels.  But, I am asking for them back by 9-10-10, so I figure everyone will have about a month to decide whether or not they can make it and hopefully that will be plenty enough time to figure out their schedules.

    I felt the same way about my weekend, we had something going on every day, so I didn't get much done either.

    I worked on a birthday cake for my mom all afternoon on Sunday, and it was so pretty... only for it to get tossed up in the car on the way. :o( My dad's a crazy driver.... but it did still taste good though.

    Hi all,

    First session with the reverend for pre-marital counseling went well.  He's a little intimidating but my nerves will be more calm in our future sessions.
     
    we had a fabulous weekend and now I have lots on my plate.

    Happy not so happy Monday!! I don't know where the weekend went! I wish I had some exciting trip or story to talk about, but I didn't do too much of anything. I hung out with my mom and FI watching movies all weekend. Hope the week goes by fast!!
