Be careful if you order a dress online. The delivery took forever and the dress made my bridesmaid look gigantic. The worse part you can't return at the store and you only have 2 weeks to retun it which is not stated when you purchase. After that it's even more difficult to get a credit that no one would want.

Just don't do it!

    Agreed. If you buy anything IN store you can't return it at ALL. Even if the tags are still on it.

    Boo!  Why do we put up with this in the wedding industry? We are spending hundreds to thousands on these dresses, and we get such bad service!

    On a happier note, welcome to the board! When are you getting married?

    I ordered my dress from davids simply because they had the dress i wanted and it was under 1,000 dollars but i am hearing all these horrible stories now. I am a little scared.  My dress comes in next month, I am praying there are no problems.  Is it true they NEVER EVER return dresses? I loved my dress when i tried it on a few months ago but what happens if i don't love it when it comes in?

    I was goofing around with one of my bridemaids at David's Bridal (we were killing time) and just happened to find THE dress. I thought they were fabulous in store; the sales ladies let me prance around in it for a few hours (I didn't want to take it off) while my bridemaid tried on dresses. It was a Tuesday or something so the store was empty!! It was so much fun and my dress arrived 2 months before the date the said it would (I ordered in October and they said I would have it mid-January). I was super happy with my experience
