This weekend when I was at michaels I found these cute little bottles that I decided to use to hold the sand that will be given to each couple for our sand ceremony.
I added string and a charm to each bottle and they will be handed out with a little card that says the following:
"These grains of sand are from this beach where we are getting married today, and were scooped up by us just for you. Please take a moment sending love, blessings and energy to these grains with well wishes, happines & joy for our marriage and life together.
During our sand ceremony, your grains of sand will be the first added, as the foundation to our unity. After, we encourage you to fill your bottle with sand from "our" beach to take home with you to remember this special day.
Thank you for being here with us in participating in our marriage."
The wording may be tweaked a bit... if you have suggestions I'm all ears... But that's the jist of it.

Here are the bottles... they will only be filled with a little bit of sand like the one on the right. But we won't be filling them till we get to our destination.
