So I saw this idea on Pinterest and have kept it in the back of my head for a while in case the weather decided to be chilly for our outdoor wedding:

We'll have a few space heaters and a backup reception location just in case. But I'm beginning to think those shawls are a good idea. I can get 24 of them (we have 52 on our guest list total) for $130. Great buy!
But my FI wants to put the brakes on me, he says we've bought enough stuff. I'm not sold. I'm just so worried about it being too cold. So, in a nutshell, what would you do? Override the FI's opinion and buy the shawls? Or skip the shawls ... guests can check and prepare for the weather on their own, as my FI says.
