Do you give gifts to someone who eloped?

One of my closest cousins eloped about 2 weeks ago. Her sister, one of my very best friends, is also engaged and her bridal shower is this saturday. Should I bring a gift for the cousin who eloped, too?

    I would send a card with money.  I dont like bringing gifts for other people at someone elses event.

    Oh that's a good idea. I will do that. I didn't want my cousin to feel overshadowed at her shower or for the other sister to feel forgotten!

    We didnt have people at our wedding, but I was surprised at how many people still bought us things. I thinks Blues idea is a good one.
