My fiance just was offered a promotion....IN SOUTH CAROLINA!!! He would have to be there March 1st!!! My wedding is on October in Mystic!!! I am FREAKING OUT!!! Luckily, I have most things planned for the wedding. But this complicated things so much!!!

Does he want to take the promotion? It's definitely a big move, but planning a wedding from farther away is definitely possible.

I've been planning my wedding from Massachusetts so far, and I'm just moving to CT now for my June wedding in Mystic. It'll be fine.

Congrats on FI promotion! I think you'll def. be able to do it. South Carolina is a really awesome place. My FI grew up there before he moved to CT to be with me and my parents have a house down there as well. I used to spend 4 months out of the year there and loved every minute of it (:

Congrats and good luck! I've done all my planning from Miami - it's totally do-able, don't stress! The one thing you'll want is to bring your dress near you so you can do fittings near where you live, then just have it steamed up in Mystic right before the wedding. Everything else can be done on the phone, especially if you've already done your tastings!!!

Oh, and also, I LOVE South Carolina! We'll be moving there after the wedding for a few months, and I'm super excited. It' a really great place, people are super nice, and you can't beat southern cooking!

I am moving Friday to Florida to be with my FI and get set up for school. Our wedding is in April and in CT as well. Trust me when I say the vendors will do great just secure those and everything will fall into place.
