Bilmar Resort -- anyone?

Hi ladies!

Has anyone had or attended a wedding, or are you having a wedding at the Bilmar Beach Resort in Treasure Island?

I'm a destination bride, from New Jersey. I am pretty familiar with the area (it's one of my favorite vacation destinations) but not with the resort. We booked them on the good reviews from multiple friends and family. Anyone's thoughts?

    Personally I am not too sure, we met our DJ there (he was working a wedding).  He does not recommend that venue...stated they were a bit unorganized, etc.  Good Luck, try the Grand Plaza on SPB or Doubletree on N. Redington Beach!Laughing
