Fake Flowers

I'm trying to save money in little areas as well as big ones. I wanted to make the alter flowers fake because they wanted to charge me $75 in addition to the flowers for the bridal party and parents. I just thought that I could cut a corner and just get some fake ones that look real. Is this cheesy and too cheap?

    I'm using all fake flowers.   For altar decorations during the ceremony, I got fake pumpkins filled with really pretty fall flowers from Michael's for 80% off. 

    All of the bouquets are fake as well and I think they are really pretty.

    I just ordered some silk flowers from afloral. I'll let you know how they are.

    I plan to use all fake flowers, mainly cause I'm allergic to most real flowers, especially in the summer (which is when my wedding is). I may use real for the groom & groomsmen though.

    So no, I personally don't think it cheesy. Just make sure you check out the quality of fake flowers. They can look really fake & ugly.
