Hair - Carlisle/Boiling Springs/Mt. Holly Springs

Does anyone have a recommendation for someone to do my hair in Carlisle, Boiling Springs, or Mt. Holly? I'm having a noon ceremony and will need to be onsite by about 10, so it has to be in one of these areas. My usual salon is too far to travel that day.

Fifth Avenue is out...I've had two bad experiences there. I'm open to anything else, though. (Someone adept at working with very thick, coarse/wavy hair would be a bonus. And if the place does makeup, too, all the better!)

I look forward to your input. And now I know why most people have afternoon/evening weddings instead of mid-day!

Aw, crap, I was looking into Fifth Avenue to do my hair! What was your experience with them? Definitely good to know now, so thanks for that :)

I don't think there's much in Boiling Springs or Mt. Holly Springs, but could you also try Mechanicsburg? Not sure where you're coming from...

i've gotten my hair colored and cut for years at studio east in carlisle- haven't tried them for wedding hair but their staff is very talented!  i'd ask for lori, bridgett, or brianne.  again, only know those 3 for cuts and color but they'd recommend the right person to you

Thanks for the tips! I should say that I know several people who travel quite a distance to go to 5th Ave. They really like it, and their hair always looks great. I also know someone who had her hair done there before her wedding, and it also looked very nice. I'm just gun-shy...so don't go by my experience!

I'll check out the other places mentioned. It's great to know that Body & Sole also does makeup, since I'm relatively clueless in that area. Thanks again!
