FI and both took a half day off work to get some wedding stuff done today! We went to the courthouse and got our marriage license (yay!) and then went to the reception venue to have a joint meeting with the venue and the caterer. I had a mini melt down when the caterer lady and the venue lady started getting snippy with one another about what time's they could be there to set up and how the whole thing was going to work but I basically told them to figure it out and all that matters is that it's done by the time I get there and my guests start to arrive and they both assured me that I won't be disappointed so I am going to hold both of them to that!! My MOH also showed up there which was nice because she hadn't ever seen the museum we're having the reception in, so I was able to bounce some ideas off of her. We also worked out some details for my B-Party which is on Saturday!! (SO excited!) and last but not least, we picked my kids up from school and then headed to the tux shop to get FI and my sons fitted for their tuxes! NONE of the other GM's have gettenn fitted yet and the deadline is saturday....I made FI text all of them to remind them yet again that they need to get it done! FI is going with his BM and one of the GM tomorrow night I think so that will get taken care of. Going to finish my unity candle and centerpieces tonight so there are some more checks! I feel very accomplished today!!
