Finishing up the DIY projects this weekend.

We made blackboards from some old framed prints that I didn't want anymore for some signs:








For favors we made  photo coasters.   Most of our guests are coming to Seattle from the east coast and midwest so we wanted something to remind them of the city.  We took all the photos ourselves of some of our favorite places around town.

    Nice photo coasters. I made photo tiles as a shower gift to my cousins wife. I cant wait to make more myself when things calm down.

    For the coasters I got 4 inch square coasters from Lowes. Print out photos, I resized them to 4x4. Using foam brush paint tile with mod podge. Let tile dry completely. Apply mod podge over photo. Let dry completely, repeat twice so a total of 3 topcoats of mod podge. Once completely dry spray top with acrylic waterproof spray. Do this last step outside. Apply felt backing to backside of tile.
