Hello fellow Kmotties

What is an appropriate or good gift to get the host of your bridal shower? Mine is being hosted by a family friend.
Thoughts, suggestions, help!!!

Thank you!!

Although most people will say, and I agree, that a heartfelt card of thanks is all you need to do, I think that if it is within your budget, a small token of thanks is always very thoughtful.

Try to personalize it to the hostess if at all possible.  Flowers or a plant if they like that, a bottle of wine, a fruit bouquet, gift card for manicure, box of chocolate, or even a small gift card to a restaurant like Panera.  You can tell them they get a "free cooking night" since they did so much to provide you and your guests with a nice luncheon, brunch, or dinner.  A new book and giftcard for Starbucks if they read, and a note to tell them to "relax" after taking the time to do so much for you.

Like pp mentioned all that's really needed is a handwritten thank you card, but I also agree that if it's in budget to try and give some kind of a gift even if it's small to show your appreciation. I gave the hosts to my shower a bath set from Bath & Body Works with a new loofah, shower gel, and bath candle and thanked themf or my shower and hoped that now they can enjoy theirs.

My MOH is hosting mine so I am going to get a "sisters" photoframe and put our favourite old picture in it with a hand written note.

My FSIL is hosting mine, so my FI and I took her out to dinner, just the three of us. I am also giving her a nice card and possibly a bouquet of her favorite flowers.
