I was perusing random local bridal shops and saw that Angeliques bridal in Blaine is hosting their annual military extravaganza soon. If you or your FI are in the military, you can sign up to be eligible for 1 of 100 free bridal gowns! My friend did this during their 1st event several years ago and apparently it went amazingly. She camped out from midnight until they opened and was 3rd in line. She got a beautiful $1000 gown for free!! There are also a ton of giveaways during the day. My friend ended up also winning a huge discount on a limo service. It is a great event for all you military brides to be to check out. I would endorse it if I didn't know how awesome it was!

    Wow! That is AWESOME! 100 dresses is a ton!  Hopefully some girls on here are able to take advantage.  Whata amazing thing for Angeliques to do.

    It will be Sunday July 10th this year. Our DJ (Jamie from Midwest Sound) told us about it, because FI and him both did their training at Fort Leonard Wood a few years back. I can't wait!

    Glad that you girls will be going! Sign up fast and camp out early--- like I said, my friend was there with lounge chairs VERY early, but the free wedding dress was well worth it. :) sorry for the spelling errors or grammar weirdness in my first post, I'm posting from my phone. But you girls will have to tell us about it after you go, :)

    My girls got their BM dresses at Angeliques-- it is a great place. Amazing dresses and the owner does a lot for girls who can't afford prom dresses besides the military bride day. I highly suggest it to everyone!

    Nikki I dunno if it applies to us. I heard on their radio advertisement you need to show a Mil ID to qualify.

    Shan-- it applies to military brides with either a fiance in the military or the bride in the military. My friend who did it showed her fiancés id. :)
