What is this flower?

Does anyone have any insight as to what flower this is? I've been told it looks like a peony that hasn't quite bloomed yet? I really love this idea and I'm having a fall wedding, so I'm hoping I can find silk flowers similar to this because I'm not sure this flower will be in season! Thanks so much for the help!

  • Those are ranunculus.  They're spring flowers, but for the right price, you can get anything year-round.

    Good luck!
  • Thank you all very much! 'm going to look into silk flowers as well. Does anyone know of any websites for silk flowers? or have any advice on silk flowers?
  • rannunculus, which everyone has already told you.  But they tend to have fairly small blooms unless you order the "giant" variety.  You could also use a garden rose, which is available more year round and the blooms often look similar to peonies ;)
