There isnt any girls on this board getting married here in Sacramento this weekend but i feel bad for the girls getting married this weekend outdoors here! Saturday is forecasted to be 105! Its almost 20' above the normal average!! Yikes!

    DRY HEAT!! there is no such thing as Humid here.

    July 14th last year was 86 which is very mild. The average is 92 but July here in Nor Cal is very tricky. You never know what kind of July your going to get until the week of and even then it changes day by day. I am just so glad we got our tents because direct sunlight would be brutal!

    Oh! Dry- I'll take that!!

    Last year we went to an outdoor wedding during the heat wave and it was like 110 degrees and like 5,000,000,000% humidity. I nearly died. What's even worse is that the wedding was at 2 PM under NO shade then people were left to fend for themselves outside (same location) until dinner was finally served at 6 PM. 75% of the guests left. I felt so bad.

    Oh yes, dry heat by far. In VA it is wicked humid in the summer.

    I would definitely take the dry heat.  The same weekend my wedding is planned for, last year, it was 105 but 116 degrees with the heat index bc of the humidity.  We are in a drought (although hopefully the rain tonight will help a little) so its forecast to be even hotter this July.  Thank gosh my ceremony will be very fast.  We will be providing lots of water for guests and our program fans and some shade.

    Agreed!!! I live in Florida-- humidity capital of the world! But I've also lived in Colorado which is dry heat and it felt so much better!
