Would you please recommend your favorite florist?

I met with 4 people, Hilliard Florist, Flowerman, Kelly Karsten, and Designs by Jerry. Hilliard was twice as much as everyone else. Kelly and Jerry came in under Flowerman. I ended up going with Kelly and feel like I got even more than was quoted for with Flowerman plus everything was delivered and setup! She is very sweet and does a great job.

We are doing silks because I have bad allergies. My wedding planner is doing them. She is fanastic. And, she is doing my centerpieces as well.

I will be honest, I went for a consultation with Jerry from Design by Jerry because I heard that he was inexpensive, and flowers are not really a priority for me. His quote seemed really reasonable so I booked him. I will add that I was a little surprised because he did not show me any of his work. I just showed him pictures of what I liked, and he would say things like "ok garden roses, stephanotis, blah, blah, blah...yeah that should be no problem."

We found a cute place in Powell called Petals & Leaves. We love it. She showed us her photos of past weddings (they have done a lot!). I told her what I wanted and she was absolutely willing to do it and in our price range. Our flowers are costing about $1300.00 and than includes my big bouquet, 4 bridesmaids bouquets, two big arrangements for the ceremony in these awesome modern flower stands they have, arrangements on every guest table and glass vases for my bouquet, and my bridesmaid bouquets to display during the reception. I told her I love white, fluffy flowers and sparkles. And that's what she is giving us! OH, and that $1300 includes them setting up and tearing down so we don't have to take everything back to her ourselves. Her name is Dee Conrad, and her store is adorable

I also am using Kelly Karsten! She is super nice and affordable and she delivers and sets up your flowers! I feel like I'm getting a lot for my money. I have looked at a lot of different places around Columbus and felt she was best priced!

We're using the Flowerman. I made all the bouts and bouquets and corsages out of feathers, so I'm only getting cake flowers, aisle decor, a sweetheart table arrangment and thirty centerpieces. I'm very hands-on so I'm excited to be a part of the flroal arranging. Also, I think it will be a fun experience with the ladies who end up joining me for the construction party. I was quoted at about 600 bones, and that's with the sweetheart table arrangement being made by them but we are making everything else. I really liked how Melissa helped me work through my vision since I've had such a hard time finding floral arrangements that match my color scheme. I'm excited to see how it all comes together!
