  Waiting is a good thing because it gives time for the two of you to be a married couple and adjust to that.

  We're going to wait at least 6-months before we start trying. I'll be 33 by the time we get married and since I want to have 3, I figured the sooner the better.

  But we do want more but I am not sure if we will go for another one right after the wedding or wait...I guess it depends on what we feel when the time gets here...

  We are waiting to start about 6 months- 1 yr after the wedding. Fi wants to start now, so does my mother, his mother, and everyone in between. I want to enjoy being a newlywed before dashing into motherhood. However, I will say that if it happens right away, I will not be disappointed, but happy for our blessing.

  We're going to wait 3 years. Neither of us is ready to be tied down to a baby. We want time to be together just as a couple, want to continue traveling and living our reltively carefree lives.

  I think if it was up to my FH we would start this JUNE! HA! NOPE! LOL!  But I think that we are going to start trying on the honeymoon. I will be 29 then and in my last semesters of my PhD. I would like to have one before I start to work and we want at least 3. So I think we better get started.

  Just kidding, we dont have a plan. Fi has two daughters and I know that he would love to try for a boy. As of right now I dont think we will try. If it happens, we'll feel blessed.

  FI and I are planning on waiting 1.5 - 2 yrs before trying.  Same as OFF, we would like to enjoy traveling and being married before we bring a little one into the equation.  My fam would prob be happy if we left the reception early and started trying then!

  We plan on waiting 3-5 years.  I'm 25 and FI is 27 so we feel like we have time.

  Winter443, giiiirl I though something was wrong with us til I read your post. LOL. We're on a 5 year plan. We'll both be 30 at that point and have 5 years of just us under our belt. Also, I plan to be a full-time mom, so we've got to get or pennies right

  Both pink and winter... I'm with y'all! We're waiting 5 years... if it was up to FI, he'd wait 10, lol... I dunno, it's just us acting selfish. I just want to travel and enjoy married life before the next major step.

  Well we actually already have a 4 year old. I go back in forth in my head everyday about it. Because we're getting married in July and I plan on going back to school to work on my masters. My FI jokes everyday like after the wedding we're going to work on another one and my daughter tells everyone that she wants a brother. So I don't know possibly 6 months-1 year if not soon after the wedding. If it happens it happens

  We have talked about waiting at least a year before trying but we won't be mad if it happens right away. We aren't doing anything to prevent it. My FI is going to be 32 and he always says that he doesn't want to be an "old" man when the baby arrives.
