'Morning, and welcome to all the new ladies!

So I mentioned I had an interview yesterday -- thank you for all of the well wishes. I wish I could come back and tell you I rocked it, but I'm not feeling very confident. Oh well, I guess I'll just have to wait and see what happens. I have an interview for a different job next week, but I don't want that one as much...

Other than that, we're still working on the ginormous box of deserts our baker sent home with us, and each one is better than the last, even three days later! And I have almost all of the parts of our save the dates in hand, so I really need to get working on that this weekend.

    Eh, Monday was Monday.  However, it was a lot better than last week when a cold knocked me on my a$$ so I can't really complain!  FI and I decided to give each of our bridesmaids $50 to help out with the dresses last night.  I'm pretty excited about that.  I also found out that one of my bridesmaids (and her mother who's like a second mom to me) can't make the shower because they agreed to host her cousin's shower on the same day.  I'm bummed out but what can you do?

    I really need to get on my save the dates.  FI wrote ten two nights ago.  He's catching up!

    Monday was good, it's usually my "Sunday" but because I'm doing 2 volunteer jobs on the side, it didn't feel like a day off! 

    I also crashed skiing Sunday, I was trying to "snow" my FI (do a hockey stop and spray him with snow!) Long story short, I flubbed up, crashed into him, and I think I got a ski pole lodged into my side.  It feels like somebody kicked me in the ribcage.  Ow.  But I guess I kind of deserved it! (Even though he does it to me all the time!) 

    We are also going to do our registry at our second store tonight! (I would have been happy just doing one store, but they didn't have everything on our 'wish list')

    I don't know if it's a thing that happening all over, but it seems like Facebook groups are popping up in my area that are like a virtual yard sale.  MandiNewMommy got me on one that has wedding stuff only.  Tonight I'm trying on a dress I found on there that may end up being my rehearsal dinner dress.  It's from David's Bridal and is horizon blue, one shoulder, short bridesmaid dress.  If it fits good, I'm getting it for $40.  It's been worn once in a wedding but I don't care.  I'm all about saving money right now.  I'm crossing my fingers! 

    Other than that I'm just attempting to work when I don't want to be working.  You know.  A typical Monday-Friday.  ;-)
