How far is too far??

Ok...so I'm just wondering something...

What is the longest distance you'd be willing to drive to get from the ceremony site to the recpetion site???

We have access to FMIL's church for free/donation but according to Mapquest, it'll take 35 minutes to get from there to the reception site that we already have booked.

Do you think this is too far?? Should I look for something closer to accomodate our guests or go with FMIL's church to save on the budget? I don't know what to do!!

Thanks for all your help ladies!!

I usually say 30 minutes.  You're not too far off.

Our ceremony is at Indian Steps Museum located in the south east part of york county and our reception is at Agape Healing Center located in West York. About forty minutes apart, sucks for the drive but totally worth both venues.

That's not that bad. I went to a wedding where it was an hour apart!
    30 minutes is average.

30 minutes is fine.  I've been to one that was almost an hour and tons of people still showed for the reception.
