Lavender seeds at Church?

I've been thinking about doing Lavender seeds at the church in lieu of rice or bubbles.

Anyone have any experience with these?  I've heard they are difficult to pull out of one's hair etc but not sure?

    I haven't had any experience with them, but make sure your church is ok with it.  My church has restrictions - we can't throw any rice or petals; I'm sure lavender seeds would fall under that as well.  Too much clean up for them.

    We are using lavender, but we are having our ceremony at the same location as our reception. The only thing our venue had a problem with is birdseed.
