Upcoming bachelorette party

I'm so bummed that many people can not attend my bachelorette party. Out of the 16 people only 5 RSVPed yes and one said maybe. It's set for Jan. 6-7. We gave people the option to come one of the two nights opposed to both nights, but that didn't seem to help. People are just flat out saying no. I'm sad.

Thanks. I think with it being so close to Christmas and New Years people just can't afford it.

Try not to let it get to you since it is the holiday season and money is tight. Better they come to your wedding anyways, ya know?

Personally, I'd rather have someone show up and not bring a gift than to not show up just because they couldn't afford a gift.

I'm sorry that you are sad. Sometimes more isn't always the merrie; Too many women in one place at one time usually ends up in some kind of drama. Try not to dwell on it and enjoy the 5 people that will be celebrating with you!.. You will have an amazing time :-)

Make the most of it and just enjoy it! I had people texting me minutes before our dinner reservation telling me they wouldnt make it, what are you doing for it? I hope it's a blast no matter how many people go!

We are going to Atlantic City. Dinner at Longhorn Steakhouse, Partying at Bally's Casino, Staying at Bally's overnight, Spa the next day, and dinner at Melting Pot the next night. The Evite explained that they can come and go as they please.

I had mine last weekend and have to say, the smaller party was so much nicer. I was able to hang out with my friends and not have to worry about drama! Go out and enjoy yourself!

Hey, in that case, I would come for the melting pot part... I love that place, and longhorn steakhouse for that matter. And as everyone else has said, smaller will be nicer. Mine is going to be really small, and i like it that way.

Mark- you pretty much can't go wrong. anything that sounds good that you eat will be amazing. FI and I end up spiltting a meal when we go.. we have the perfect amount of food that way. I have a big appetite, and he has a small one, and no one leaves hungry.

People don't bring gifts to bachelorette parties but they pay their own way.
