Who did your....

Who did your cake? And how much did it cost per person? I'm trying to find the cheapest way possible to have a cake but don't want to spend a crazy amount of money on it. I don't want anything extravagant for designs on the cake... just something really simple and elegant.

Suggestions? Thanks :):)

We didn't do a cake because we wanted to save some money, so we went with cup cakes. We still have a small cake for us to cut, and the florist is going to put some flowers on the top and place them throughout the cup cake stand, nothing to fancy. We went through Cup Capes on Main st in Falmouth! The only thing she wanted to charge us $100.00 to deliver which I was not about to pay, so my moms friend is going to pick them up and set it up for us.

Oh and it cost about $200.00 for the stand, 60 cupcakes and bride and groom cake!

You should look into Stop & Shop or Roche Brothers.  I hear both do nice cakes and Im sure you will save a ton.

Were doing Konditor Meister it's in our wedding package so we're not paying anything extra unless we want something really specific. We both are anti-fondant so it worked out really well (because that's what cost extra) and they are very very well known in the culinary profession as being one of the best (most important to Fiance who's a chef).

Otherwise they charge about $3 per person.

The Flying Bridge has an exclusive with Casual Gourmet in Centerville and the cake was amazing! They have a number of gorgeous seashell and beachy designs (as well as traditional), and the cake was delicious (white cake with lemon custard filling). Sarah at Casual Gourmet was wonderful!
